Wizardry in Wood

28th October 2025

Plaisterers Hall

We were invited to the Wizardary in Wood Exhibition by the Master Turner and Consort. Held only once every 4 years, this unique exhibition is a celebration of creativity, craftsmanship, and the enduring magic of woodturning.

There are 3 halls of modern and ancient examples of the craft and competitions for Turners of all specialist skills. A fascinating exhibition. It runs until Friday, 31st October, well worth a visit

Eagle-eyed Past Master Elise Rasumussen spotted a 'Misers' Snuff box. No evidence of the skills of wooden pipe making, though
