Grand Finale

6th November 2024

Guildhall

We joined other Masters, Consorts and guests for a “A Grand Finale” evening at the Guildhall – a final celebration and fund raising event for the Lord Mayor Michael Mainelli and Lady Mayoress Elisabeth charities before they finished their year.

The main hall was set out as a Jazz Club, with small tables and lamps surrounding a stage, on which we were served drinks and canapes.

Hosted by West End Star Darren Day, the show included pieces performed by West End performers, from Cabaret, Chicago, Cats, The Rat Pack, Les Miserables and Abba amongst others, with spectacular dancing as well - all pieces that the audience recognised easily and therefore enjoyed!

A raffle, silent auction and other money raising events were held, no doubt making a significant contribution to the Mayor's charities!

For those who had chosen to stay on, there was dinner in the crypt to end the evening.

A very spectacular Grand Finale indeed!
