Furniture Makers Masters & Clerks Dinner

The Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers provided a fine Masters and Clerks dinner at their hall in Austin Friars. Besides the current Furniture Makers Master, Brian Ahern, the speakers also included Mrs Isabel Martinson MBE, Master of the Pewterers, discussing the charitable endeavours of the Furniture Makers and others.
As always lots of interesting topics got covered over a stirrup cup before we all eventually disappeared!
The Furniture Makers became only the fourth Livery company to acquire their first hall since the Apothecaries in 1632, so the chance to go to a fine new Hall is quite unusual.
