Coq d’Argent

I have always wanted to go to Peru. It is a bucket list destination so that I can wander with an archaeologist through Machu Picchu. Thanks to Liveryman Ian Narbeth, Peru came to me, in the form of a special cigar generously provided by Regius Cigars to our members and guests attending the Smoking Quarterly Meeting. It was a glorious evening, the kind of weather that Brits write about as it is infrequent! Coq d’Argent was the perfect location to savour cigars, wines and nibbles. The conversations flowed and our fabulous guests became friends and soon family as our Worshipful Company embraced them. Court Assistant Stephan von Schilling deserves huge credit for juggling locations at the last minute before finding us our own special place in the sun!
