Anyone who attended Paul Taberer’s January dinner will recall Pipe Maker Scholar, Welsh Singer Emyr Jones’ powerful voice. I certainly did and eagerly accepted the opportunity to listen to him again as part of the Guildhall School of Music’s Opera Makers. Milton Court Studio is an intimate theatre and the perfect location for Guildhall playwrights to watch their pieces come to life. It was very interesting to experience the depth of each vignette. The powerful voices and emotions were evident and made me very pleased that the Benevolent Fund will mark 60 years of partnership with the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2024.
