True & Fair Lecture

The W Co of Chartered Accountants held their annual ‘True & Fair’ lecture – their Master securing an excellent and interesting speaker, in the former government minister, now Director General of the British Private Equity and Venture Capital Association, Michael Moore. He previously served as Shadow Secretary for Scotland and Northern Ireland and Shadow Secretary of State for International Development.
He gave an upbeat and positive talk on the good work done by the venture capitalists and private equity in UK, the good reputation London continues to enjoy on the world financial stage and the need to keep abreast of key issues – such as ESG and climate change.
Drinks and canapes were served to round off an enjoyable evening.
It was my first visit to the CA Hall – lovely Grade II listed building in the heart of the city.
