Worshipful Co of Horners - 25th Ralph Anderson Memorial Lecture

23rd February 2023

The Royal Society of Medicine

The Mistress and I attended the lecture delivered this year by Professor Edward Kosior, and expert in the field of plastics management and recycling. Attendance was well subscribed from many of the Livery Companies.

Entitled ‘Advances in technology to fast forward the circular economy’ the Prof’s lecture highlighted much was to be done to reach our global CO2e targets – there has been huge advancement in technology and a concerted effort was now needed from all stakeholders to implement! There is no time for procrastination and red tape. Proper waste management and plastics recycling will lead to a better world – which is good news if we act!

It was a most enlightening lecture followed by a buffet supper and catch up with various other Masters and Consorts.
