Pollinating London Together - Annual Meeting

30th November 2022

Barber Surgeons' Hall

PLT was inaugurated in 2019 with the aim of developing biodiversity corridors across green spaces in the City and surrounding boroughs to halt the decline of pollinators.

There were representatives from 40 Livery Companies at this annual meeting held at the Barber Surgeons' Hall.

They have managed to secure a considerable grant from the City of London Corporation, and this has helped them secure a partnership with Reading University which offers invaluable resources.

We heard of the work done over the past year – green space planting and pollinator audits, education and awareness campaigns – all with a view to save and grow our pollinators so needed for the production of food!

PLT has charitable status and will need to raise funds to keep the momentum going…it has several initiatives to do so!

All part of the save the planet macro campaign, we need to support where we can!
