Garden of Remembrance Service

7th November 2022

St Paul's Cathedral

This act of Remembrance, coordinated by the Livery Committee of London, took place in the Churchyard Garden of St Paul's, and it was a moving and lovely service, conducted by the Dean of St Paul’s, to remember all those affected by war and conflict.

In attendance were the Lord Mayor and Sheriffs, Masters, Prime Wardens, Upper Bailiff and Clerks of City Companies, with the Band of the Scots Guards, Royal British Legion, various Cadet Forces, and the Choir from the City of London.

We arrived for a casual breakfast in the Crypt, collected our company poppy cross, before processing out and lining up in order of precedence for the service and planting of the Cross.

Many of us then went on to enjoy a lunch at Plaisterers’ Hall – and a chance to meet many newly installed Masters!
