Supporters Evening - our musicians

Guildhall School of Music - Barbican
The Mistress and I joined other supporters at a reception hosted by The Guildhall School of Music – an opportunity to meet the very talented musicians we are supporting.
This year, our Benevolent Fund is supporting 4 musicians:
Matthew Brown, Guildhall Artist Masters, Third year, (Fortepiano/Harpsichord/Clavichord/Organ);
Emyr Jones, Advanced Certificate, First year, (Baritone/Bass);
Gabriel Francis-Dehqani, Guildhall Artist Masters, Second year, (Cello);
Lucy Walsh, Bachelor of Music (Hons), Third year, (Flute).
All expressed their sincere thanks and appreciation for the financial assistance and explained their education and ambitions!
The GS of M started nearly 150 years ago with 62 students; today they are a leading global music and drama institution with 1,100 students. Their principal, Jonathan Vaughan, gave much credit to the support of Livery companies for their success.
We look forward to a couple of our students hopefully performing at the January Dinner!
