Coffee Morning with Lord Mayor

The Lord Mayor, Vincent Keaveny, held a series of coffee mornings in the Long Parlour at Mansion House – to which all Masters / Prime Wardens / Upper Bailiffs were invited.
My allotted day was 27th October, along with about 25 others, and also in attendance was Alderman Sheriff Alastair King.
The LM coordinated an open discussion on the Livery Companies strategic focus on three main areas – sustainability, philanthropy, inclusion – all relevant in today’s world, and the need to share with one another any ideas and suggestions.
There is no doubt that we all need to take this seriously and have the City of London lead by example.
The Lord Mayor thanked all for their support in what’s been an unforgettable year and which has another 2 weeks to go! He has certainly enjoyed an eventful year and performed admirably.
