    Freedom of the City

Freedom of the City

21st December 2020

The latest Freeman of the Tobacco Pipe Makers and Tobacco Blenders to receive his Freedom of the City today in a virtual Ceremony is Lieutenant Colonel Geoffrey Strickland, formerly Commanding Officer of the London Regiment.

Geoffrey joins fellow members of the Company - Kate Woodley, Charles Bennett-Baggs, Mario Cescutti, Simon Millson and Frederik Vandermarliere who have all received their Freedom of the City by Virtual Ceremony during 2020.

Apart from Charles who has already become a Liveryman, we look forward to 2021 and to Kate, Mario, Simon, Frederik and Geoffrey being 'Gowned' in the Livery and becoming full members of the Company.
