A Break from Coronavirus

28th March 2020

Spring arrives in Kent

It is a beautiful morning in Kent and, as usual, I walked my dog early to avoid any unnecessary social interaction in these unusual times.

My dog, Marley is a working cocker spaniel, full of life and the joys of Spring; the fields are freshly ploughed and the blackthorn is in blossom.

In spite of all the terrible news and the daily confinement and worry, what struck me is what a wonderful world surrounds us and that, maybe, in the current hush we will come to appreciate it more.

My other news is that I have signed up to be an NHS volunteer and will update you on my activities, should I be called upon!

In the interim, stay safe!
