Addmission to The Livery

In becoming a Liveryman, candidates will be following in the ancient traditions of the Livery Companies, which continue to play an important part in the government and administration of the City of London.

Liverymen enjoy a number of privileges, including taking part in the annual election of the Lord Mayor, the Sheriffs and other Officers of the City of London.
