We are the Livery Company primarily associated with the tobacco trade.
Our primary objectives are:
- to support our programme of charitable giving (see Benevolence);
- to uphold the traditions and high standards to which the Livery aspires;
- to sponsor technical education and encourage research in the art and craft
by scholarships, prizes and other means;
- to provide an organisation in the City of London for consultation and
co-operation by those engaged in the art and craft
and confering with similar
interested trades;
- to provide quality social functions;
- to take an active participation in the Corporation of London; and
- to advance the craft of Pipe making and the art of Tobacco Blending
